July 2008 - all change at the top!

At the end of term we said a sad goodbye to Mrs Capel-Davies who had been our headteacher since 2001.  See this page for more. 

In September we will welcome our new head teacher  - Mr Nick Pitson -  who joins us then.

June 2008 - cream teas

Miranda Walton, one of our Teaching Assistants, has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. We held a cream tea and cake sale to raise funds for Miranda and her family to go to see the Lion King, in which one of our pupils performs.

May 2008 - our ducklings have moved to their new home.....

March 2008 - our ducklings have hatched!

We have been keeping some duck eggs in an incubator and they have hatched!  

Jan 2008 - new foundation year staff

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Miss Louise Stewart, the new Reception and Year 1 teacher, and Mrs Lucy Baker, the new Teaching Assistant, who have joined us from this term.  Miss Stewart has written a letter for Class 1 parents which you can find here.

Dec 2007 - school hall building commences

We are pleased to announce that the builders are now on site and work has commenced on the new school hall. We are expecting completion in July / August 2008.
